Sprint 8
Sprint 8 is a proprietary HIIT workout program designed by Johnson and scientifically proven to be more effective than conventional exercise. This HIIT program is exclusively available on Johnson exercise equipment, specifically Matrix and Horizon machines. Matrix fitness equipment comes with the program pre-installed, while Horizon equipment requires connection to the @Zone app.
@Zone Connection:
- Download the @Zone app and register
- Create a personal profile
- Open @Zone app and select "Add Equipment"
- Turn on the exercise machine and enable Bluetooth on your phone
- The app will detect and connect to the equipment
Workout:
- 3-minute warm-up
- 8 rounds of 30-second high-intensity sprints (heart rate zone 4-5: 144-180 bpm)
- 7 rounds of 90-second recovery intervals (heart rate zone 1-2: 90-126 bpm)
- 2.5-minute cool-down
Intensity Levels:
- Beginner (1-5): 5.1-8.5 km/hr
- Intermediate (6-10): 8.0-11.3 km/hr
- Advanced (11-15): 11.3-15.3 km/hr
- Elite (16-20): 15.3-19.3 km/hr
- Custom: User-defined speed and incline
Results:
The program displays metrics such as revolutions per minute, distance, calories burned, sweat loss (watts), resistance, speed, and heart rate.
